This fight was ALWAYS going to be close, with every round swaying one way
then he other. It looked as though after four rounds Charlotte had done just
enough to win, but the judges scored a majority draw so it went into a fifth
round decider with Jerri's strength showing through to take the
victory... REMATCH??
Hannah Jakki
On paper a close match with Hannah Joy's soft nature plaguing her early
training. Jakki learned to box right handed the opposite to her natural left
handed stance, and this may have given Hannah the advantage she needed to
come home the wiinner, taking all four rounds.
Vanessa Kerri
A bad tempered affair from the start, Kerri claiming Vanessa used 'rough
house' tactics to control the fight, prompting Kerri to punch back with
venom, but at the end the south african strong girl Vanessa took the points.
Sapphira Kayleigh
This fight was surprisingly close, with asthma sufferer Kayleigh having to
overcome her doubts and fears against the confident Sapphira. The final
decision could have gone either way but Sapphira was the one smiling at the finish with a points win.
Tamara Katkin
Physically these girls were evenly matched, and this was apparent as both
struggled to take control. In the end a cunning move by the Princess to turn
southport confused Katkin and left Tamara the winner after five rounds.
Becky Hayley
The main event lived up to all expectations with both girls showing skill
and fighting heart that no one could of forseen. A highly contraversial
third roung stopage by the referee left Becky the winner and Hayley furiously contesting the decision. Hold tight for a rematch.
